Windows Vista BF2142 Performance Part 2 - 8th February 2007

FiringSquad released part 2 of their Windows Vista performance review. In this part they tested how well Nvidia cards handle BF2142 among other games under Windows Vista.

Performance was significantly down for the GeForce 8800 GTX under Windows Vista. Approximately 22% at 1280x1024 under 32-bit Vista, and 21% when comparing the 64-bit operating systems. We noted similar margins at higher resolutions. Read the Rest...

Eve of Destruction - 6th February 2007

Eve of Destruction has released some new in game screenshots today.

Though there is no Daily Advisor this week, I still have some very important information to share with everyone, and a very special map. This map is one of the original maps from Eve of Destruction 1942, it has been around a very long time, and has been an important part of the EoD modification. One of the most popular infantry maps, Stream's layout has been redone in the BF2 engine by ALFfx. After creation almost every mapper has helped to touch it up and perfect the map, creating this classic with BF2. Take a look at the new Stream.
